Our Pastor, David L Heckman, Jr. was installed here at First on Feb 13th 2005. Pastor Dave came to us after serving several churches in many different roles. Pastor Dave came to us through a teaching church covenant whereby, we pledge to support Pastor Dave while he attends Seminary, and he gets “on the job training” working in our parish. Pastor Dave specializes in church growth, church revitalization, and social justice work. 
     
     Pastor Dave is a board member of the Tioga County Habitat for Humanity, the Chair of the Association Life Committee for the Susquehanna Association of the New York Conference, and active member of Project Neighbor. You may feel free to contact him at the church office at anytime. His office hours are Monday- Thursday 9am-3pm.

     We are pleased to have Aric Phinney join us as our new Director of Music.  Aric received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Music from Hougton College in Western New York.  While attending the Hougton School of Music, he studied with the late, Dr. C. Nolan Huizenga.  Aric was the Music Director for over ten years at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  Currently, he is the Music Director at Union Center United Methodist Church.  Aric resides in Endicott, where he teaches private piano.  During the week, you'll find him in kirkwood, where he is the Business Manager for Modern Marketing Concepts.
